Y’all. I am OBSESSED with this shoot. This is the elopement shoot from day 2 of the Wild Ones workshop (see the lifestyle shoot here and vendor list at the bottom of this page!).
Jen and Andrew drove down from the Seattle area to model for us. They just got married a few months ago (after a longggg history of being together and not together and reunited, etc.), so the emotions were still very new and raw and real. (PS, their wedding was shot by the amazing Athena and Camron!) Jen wept even while pretending to read vows to him again, and when he played guitar for her. Can’t blame her, as anyone playing guitar for me would make me swoon. 😍 These two were down for everything we asked of them and did it with a smile on their face and love in their eyes. So happy I got to work with them. (Not to mention, I played my photoshoot playlist during the shoot and they both loved all my music. 😏)
Aside from their physical and emotional beauty as a couple, I was COMPLETELY floored by the florals and the design for this shoot. Like, the bouquet the day before was lovely, but this one BLEW ME AWAYYYY. And that floral arch?! Damn. And scroll to the end to see the incredible tablescape.
Also a little bonus: with some of the leftover flowers, the florist and designers put together a little “beanie bouquet” just for fun before we all left. How cute!
I am so thankful I got to participate in all of these shoots and add some bomb new stuff to my portfolio. So many thanks to Nicola for putting all this together, and for putting together tons of styled shoots year round to help out her fellow photographers! You da real MVP!!
