Gates Pass Session | Arizona Couples Photographer

I love when clients travel from other places and want to capture their time in the desert, like this Gates Pass session. Nicky and Gonzalo came all the way from Guatemala to visit family in Tucson, and they wanted some nice photos in the desert while they were here. Music to my ears! 

This is also a special time for them because Nicky was a few months pregnant with their first child! They wanted to commemorate this new time in their lives with a photo shoot. Nicky and Gonzalo didn’t want a lot of overly cheesy maternity photos, but we took a few tasteful shots to highlight her growing bump. They came out so well, and I love how cute they were together during our mini maternity shoot. 

We headed out to Gates Pass and caught a really beautiful sunrise while we were there. Nicky and Gonzalo are also photographers, so they were very good at posing and being on camera. We had a little bit of adventure while we were in the desert when we heard a rattlesnake. It was a little scary, but pretty exciting for some far-away visitors!
