Rock Climbing Elopement | Arizona Elopement Photographer
This elopement was an absolute dream come true for me as an Arizona elopement photographer AND a rock climber. When I had my consult with these two and found out that they are avid climbers, I knew we could make some magic for their Mount Lemmon elopement. Thankfully, they were super into the idea! No actual climbing was involved this time since climbing would have taken too long. The couple rappelled, and I was belayed by a dear friend.
Naomi and Sam had a 3-day elopement weekend, so I got to work with them several days in a row! The first day, they had their quick intimate ceremony at Catalina State Park. The second day, we met up for adventures on Mount Lemmon and stopped at Babad Do'ag Vista for desert vibes. We then hiked a bit from the Gordon Hirabayashi Campground, and ended at Windy Point. We did their family portraits and climbing photos there, and we even caught the incredible bright-orange sunset. This was a literal dream come true for me, and was an absolutely perfect day!
The final day, I joined them at Sam's mom's house for a reception, with more guests coming to celebrate them. This couple and this weekend could not have been more perfect. They were so fun and adventurous, down for anything, and they fed me all 3 nights, which is no small thing. I can only hope this leads to more amazing adventures, and hopefully another rock climbing elopement or two!
