Rock Climbing Proposal | Arizona Engagement Photographer

This Rock Climbing Proposal was so special to me! I've known Jeff since we were 16 and never seen anyone make as much sense for him, as Margot does! These two are perfect for each other! They both love climbing, board games, and entertaining. And they just “go together” so well, ya know?

When Jeff asked me to come out to Chicago to photograph his proposal at their climbing gym... I could not say HELL YES fast enough. I’m so happy to see my friend take this next step in his life!

So we all got situated in the climbing gym, and after a bit of climbing, I got my camera out that I had snuck in while Margot was up high. And when she touched down, Jeff popped the question (!!!) And as you can see, she was over the moon. I felt so honored to capture this moment for them.

The next day, we met up for an engagement session at Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve, where they were super adventurous and even got in the water. I love these two, and I'm so glad I could be there for this! This was a first for me… getting to photograph a rock climbing engagement proposal. Can't wait to attend their wedding as a guest next summer.
