Tucson Proposal at Dove Mountain | Tucson Engagement Photographer

So I told y’all in my Proposal Tips blog that I have done a buttload of proposals recently. This one was the first of the bunch! :D
Tony and Laura came out to Tucson from Indiana for a little winter getaway in mid-December. (Being from Chicago, I cannot blame them for wanting to escape that weather for our gorgeous Arizona winters!) Tony reached out to me about having his proposal to Laura photographed and I was obviously so down!
He wanted to stay near their hotel, the Dove Mountain Ritz-Carlton, so I hopped in my car and scouted some spots in the area. Luckily, the hotel’s surroundings are very scenic and there are even some hikes that start right at the lobby, so it wasn’t hard to find a beautiful, deserty spot for them.
When the time came, I stood on the trail where I was going to have him pop the question and pretended to be a nature photographer. So they walked right past me, Laura having no idea who I was. But then I turned around, which was Tony’s cue, he did his thing, and now they’re engaged!
