This is one of my favorite elopements ever! I love these two. They are so goofy and fun. It was a joy and a privilege to capture their Chicago elopement.
Cordia and Tyler are from Colorado but had lived in Chicago for a while. They both knew right away after getting engaged that they wanted to elope, because that’s just who they are. It must feel so good to know exactly what you want to do in regards to your wedding, and then just do it! Expectations and pressures be damned! They didn’t even tell anyone they were doing it, choosing to deal with that part later… haha. And honestly, more power to them. Your wedding day should only be what YOU want it to be!
I met them bright and early at their hotel room at the Chicago Waldorf, where we took some getting ready shots and ate some donuts (yaaaaaasssssss). Then we headed over to city hall for the sweet ceremony. (I honestly love the simplicity of a city hall ceremony.) Then we took some photos downtown before taking the train to their home in Wrigleyville, which happened to be a block away from Wrigley Field, so of course we had to get some photos there. (GO CUBS!)
This was the sweetest day with the most fun couple. Enjoy!
