Welp.
We made it through another year!
2021. The year of, among other things, kind of sort of getting back to “normal” (wtf is that?).
I won’t get into all the things that went wrong for the world and the country in 2021, because there are a lot of them and none of us need an extra reminder. But also because, if I forget about those things for a moment and think only about what I experienced personally… it was a great year. My best business year to date, my best adventure year (10 national parks! among other adventures!), a year of seeing friends and family again and making new friends, and a year of discovering this new place that I live in and love.
I can’t and won’t ignore the problems, but no one can stop me from celebrating the wins and the highs. ❤
I worked with so many amazing couples last year (and a few lovely families and individuals!). So many people trusted me with their love story (including FIFTEEN proposals!) in 2021 and I am beyond grateful.
Of course, after having very little to do in 2020, the volume of work in 2021 was a bit overwhelming, which is why this is my first blog since last March, I believe. Whoopsie. Nevertheless, here I am! And hopefully you’ll be seeing some more blogs this year. :)
Here is just a tiny snippet of the magic made in 2021. Just one photo from each session, wedding, or styled shoot. It was hard to choose, but damn, do I love each of these photos and the people in them from the bottom of my heart.
