Before I get into this beautiful elopement, I have to mention first that I 2nd shot (assisted) this one for the fantastic Alyssa Ryan Photography. She was the lead photographer and I was working for her (which was so fun and she was so lovely to work with!) and she is kind enough to let me use the images I took for my portfolio. :)

So! Hannah and Jason! This was such a gorgeous elopement between a wonderful, loving couple amidst the amazing Sedona red rocks. They had a bigger wedding planned, but like a lot of people, that plan was thwarted by the ‘rona. So they got a handful of close family members together and decided to get married on their original date but do it outdoors in Sedona. Which is - and I can’t stress this enough - NEVER a bad choice. 😉

We started the day with getting ready at the Hilton, then took a trolley to Bell Rock. This was interesting because Jason and Hanna didn’t want to see each other until the ceremony, so Hanna boarded first and then everyone helped put a sheet up in front of her. 😂 And then Jason came out with a mask over his eyes and boarded. Once at Bell Rock, everyone got in position and then Hanna came up, and they had a beautiful little ceremony at the base of the rock with a nice local officiant. Tears were shed; it was overall very sweet. 😊

After some family photos (including the newlyweds with Jason’s two kids), and, of course, some newlywed portraits, we all got back on the trolley and went back to the hotel for the small, charming reception.

It was a really lovely day and I’m so happy I got to be a part of it! :) Thanks, Alyssa!!
