Orange County Couples Session at 1000 Steps Beach | Southern California Elopement Photographer

When Savoy asked me to come out to California to photograph him and his boyfriend, Tyler, for their anniversary, I couldn’t drive out there fast enough!

Being from the Midwest, I love a good road trip, and the fact that the coast is only 6-7 hours away now gives me the perfect excuse to take one. Why go through the hassle of flying when I could drive? So I hopped in my car and made a quick getaway to Orange County.

And I’m so glad I could do it so easily, because LOOK at these CUTIES!!!! I met up with them at 1000 Steps Beach in Laguna Beach for a dreamy sunset session. 1000 Steps Beach has some really cool rocky areas, including a little pool carved naturally into the rock. The water crashes in with the waves and then stays and warms up in the sun. 😎 The waves were big and fun when we were there, and may have surprised us once or twice… not complaining, though.

These two could not be any cuter, as you can see. Thanks so much to them for bringing me out to California for this beautiful session! Happy anniversary, you two! 😊
