I’m so excited to share this double session of these two Arizona adventurers! Allison and Zack love Arizona and wanted their engagement photos to showcase an incredible part of the state. They were hoping to do their Grand Canyon engagement session in a couple different spots. So I suggested that, to maximize golden hour light, we do a sunset AND a sunrise session! Each at different spots that are respectively perfect for those times of day.

We started by opening a package I brought - Julie's sister Katie wanted to surprise them with a gift so we arranged for her to send me a personalized champagne bottle & flutes and I brought them with me! They enjoyed the champagne and the stunning sunrise.

I’m afraid they thought it might be warmer at the Grand Canyon, but thankfully I was able to warn them before their trip that it would NOT be very warm at all. Doesn’t matter, though!! We still had a lot of fun frolicking around the South Rim and enjoyed a pretty stunning sunset.

It was obviously gorgeous before, but this added a whole new element. Thank goodness for Rachael and Joe’s New Year’s trip and Joe being a romantic and proposing near the holiday! :D
Read MoreAs a person from the Midwest, I can’t get enough of the Grand Canyon. Some folks who come from more scenic areas may find it boring and touristy, but not me. I can’t blame the tourists, because even though I live in AZ now, I am one. I’ll happily brave the crowds to get a glimpse of this wonder.
