Rachel and Nathan were on vacation out West from Kentucky and wanted to get some epic photos taken at the Grand Canyon. We shot at Lipan Point and had the best Grand Canyon adventure session, which is one of the best spots for sunset in the national park.

They both are in the Air Force which is why they were in Tucson! But headed to Korea where Allesha had been stationed! They simply wanted some fun photos to remember their time in Tucson and commemorate their Vegas elopement!!

My best business year to date, my best adventure year (10 national parks! among other adventures!), a year of seeing friends and family again and making new friends, and a year of discovering this new place that I live in and love.
Read MoreMarissa and Stephen! Two adorable humans from the Bay Area who came down to the Grand Canyon for a quick winter vacation. I’m afraid they thought it might be warmer at the Grand Canyon, but thankfully I was able to warn them before their trip that it would NOT be very warm at all. Doesn’t matter, though!! We still had a lot of fun frolicking around the South Rim and enjoyed a pretty stunning sunset.

(They actually stayed at the same hotel as Tony & Laura - apparently the Ritz is well worth staying at!!) Davis planned to propose on January 2 and he wanted to do so in a beautiful, desert-y, as-secluded-as-possible spot. I was, of course, totally on board. :D

It was obviously gorgeous before, but this added a whole new element. Thank goodness for Rachael and Joe’s New Year’s trip and Joe being a romantic and proposing near the holiday! :D
