Ok, before I get to the good stuff, I just have to say… Grand Canyon. HOLY WOW. My little Midwestern heart practically jumped right out of my chest. It’s true what they say: the Grand Canyon is impossible to describe or capture in a photograph. But of course, I’m me, so I still tried. ;)

I’ve always been a lake person (pools are too manufactured and chemically, oceans are too salty and terrifying, but lakes are perfect), so to see and swim in such a beautiful lake really filled my cup.
